Each year, in communities all across the United States, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention conducts Out of the Darkness Community Walks to raise awareness – and funds – for suicide prevention.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving is the Annual International Survivors of Suicide Day. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention holds a webcast and satellite teleconference that has touched many over the years.

Mental Illness Awareness Week
